I have a letter dated 18 Jun 1949 that refers to Jane ADAMS wife of Capt. Oliver Coney. She was the dau of James ADAMS and Elizabeth JOHNSON both from MA. Jane's daughter Mary CONEY was was born ca 1778 d. 29 Apr. 1850. Mary Coney m. John BROOKS Jane was supposed to have died and was buried in Queensboro? near Stony Point, NY. I am not sure of the spelling, however this is what it looks like to me. There are two Stony Points: One in Rockland County and the other in Rensselaer County, New York. Does anyone have any idea as to the proper county or even if Queensboro is correct? I have tried the Geographic Names data base and struck out.
