The 1850 census for Rockland County shows my family, Isaac & Rachel Barnes but also has several people living with them and I wonder who these people might be. The people were: Philip Montonya age 35 with children John 14, Ellen 12, Isaac 9, Elizabeth. Also Patrick Couner 18 and Martin Hatchet 28. Also, any information on BELDING BARNES b. abt. 1816-20 would be appreciated. He is a son of the above Barnes couple and stayed in Haverstraw. May have been involved with the Haverstraw Savings Bank in 1871. He was still living in 1890. Thanks, Margaret
