Joan, There are two editions of Bailey's book, the original hardcover of which The Holland Society which was limited to 330 copies, if my memory serves me correctly, and the paperback reprint by Dover Books, originally released in the mid or late '60's. The original can be found, and it's a lovely book with a beautiful binding and very, very large type, but the current market price runs somewhere between $100 and $300; I know because I saw a copy about six months ago in a local used book store marked at $300. You should look for a copy of the Dover reprint, if you can find it. I don't believe it's in print any longer--so Dover is not a source for it--so you'll need to shop with dealers of used books, either on-line or in your community. But, if you have 17th century Dutch ancestors who lived in the vicinity of present day New York City, it's a gold mine of information. Best regards, Kelvin Kean Elverson, Pennsylvania
