Hi, John: My husband's line contains YEOMANS and BABCOCK's. The YEOMANS are from the Beaver Pond area (now Lake Welch, Harriman Park). John J. YEOMANS (1789-1865) m. Miriam BABCOCK (1795-??). I believe John's father to be Samuel and Miriam's to be George. Their children were Elizabeth (married George Conklin), George, David B., Mary, Ruth (married John STRICKLAND), Dorcas (married Walter BROOKS-my husband's gr gr grandfa), Samson, Job, Timothy (married Catherine BULSON), William R. (married Mary BABCOCK, Charles, and Catherine (married James LOYD). I'd be glad to exchange information. Sincerely, Joan Brooks Stony Point, NY John Sipkens (by way of Bruce Hamilton ) wrote: > I have a few Yeoman in my family tree from early Rockland County. I see no connection with the 2 Yeoman's on your web site, but the dates are of the right era. Are you interested in Yeomans of Rockland Co? I am also looking for Babcooks and Strickands. I really need info on Caleb Strickland. I have his children, and possibly his wife was a Polly Or Mary Babcock. Caleb B abt 1784 married and had children early 1800's Rockland Co. Can you help on any of these ?? > > Thanks > > JOHN SIPKENS
