Nauraushaun was located within what is now called Pearl River in the Town of Orangetown. It lay along the Hackensack River mostly in what is now known locally as Orangeville, a neighborhood without a post office and hence no modern identity. The name Nauraushaun endures in Nauraushaun Brook, a tributary of the Hackensack, and in the names of three Nauraushaun Avenues, West, East, and South.
