Jason, The Kakiat Reformed Church was organized in 1774. It is 6 miles from Clarkstown in the Ramapo District of Rockland County. If you will re-check Cole's "History of Rockland County" on page 71 of the Appendix, you will find that a daughter Rachel was born to Abraham Blauvelt and Maria DeKlerck on 26 December 1773 and baptized in Clarkstown Church on 23 January 1774. The witnesses were "Haramanis" Blauvelt and Rachel Blauvelt. The earliest child born to Abraham Blauvelt (son of Abraham Blauvelt and Jannetje DeClark) and his wife Anna Maria Van Huysen (daughter of Harmanus Van Huysen and Sarah Blauvelt) appears to be their son Abraham, baptized 15 December 1776 in the same Clarkstown Church.
