Hi List: I have been tracing my family back and have run into a problem. I traced Jean FORSHAY born abt 1674 in France. Jean married Eva Matthyse in 1696. I traced Pierre FORSHAY born abt 1683 in France. Pierre married Abigail DePew in 1704. Both came to the states around 1695 and both settled in Philipsburgh, NY around 1697. I can not tell if they are brothers or two different families. Does any one out there have any information on these two individuals? I would appreciate any help I can get on this problem.
