Jacob or his parents once lived in the area of the Sandyfield school near what is now Lake Welch. I would appreciate hearing from any Call descendents who lived in (or know of) Sandyfield who might be able to identify the various Call families from the area. Jacob Call was born around 1827 and died in the early 1900's. He married Sarah McKenzie. His children included Richard, Wallace, William, Sarah, Ann and Edith. I am told that his granddaughter, Edith Lane lived in Sandyfield with her mother for a brief period, possibly after her father's death in 1910. Her mother was Edith Call Lane.
