David, I have checked the map and listing of Patentees on p. 16, History of Orange County, Ruttenber and Clark. I'm afraid that your Marten does not show up. The map only goes down to Poloplopen Creek, which is at the current border of Orange Co with Rockland County (at the present Bear Mountain Bridge). I checked Cole's "History of Rockland County", and found only one note for Joshua Marten, along with Susan Marten, he was in the class of the Palisades Methodist Episcopal Church (1820). The is no listing for Waible/Wible/Wyble in Cole's. Cole's does not have a good map of Rockland County for that time period, but I would have to say that the MARTENS must have lived near Piermont.
