Hello, I am new to the list and would like to know if any one knows if there is a Nyack Hospital or was in 1934,as well as what newspapers were around at that time. I am trying to locate the place of death for my gr grandfather who died from being totally burned in an accident caused by and explosion at his work at the Colonial Powder Company someplace between Orangeburg and Nyack,NY. He died on Sept 17,1934 after being in this Hospital since Sept 12th 1934 when the powder shed exploded ,he was dragged out but his entire body was burned and the funeral home says Nyack Hospital.
