She is listed as the head of the household in the 1860 Federal Census for Rockland County, N.Y.; Orangetown; Nyack P.O., aged 46, with the following (all born New York): John Van Orden, 26, coal dealer; Sneden Van Orden, 25, coal dealer; Peter Van Orden, 23, boatman; Charles Van Orden, 9; Sarah M.
