Guseppi ( Joseph ) Scozzdafava? came to Tomkins Coves 1880s from Italy with his family. He dies before the last child is born in 1900. His wife Rose Puglise marries Luigi Pasante and they move to the Kingston area. The oldest son Phillip Scozzdafava changes the family name to Lawrence about 1910 ( so a cousin says). 1892 census Luigi Pasante is a boarder at a hotel owned by a Scozzdafava family. There are no death records, church records, cemetery etc. that I have been able to find. This is my son's family and we are stuck! Looking for famliy members with more info perhaps. Cathy W.
