Richard, yes many Jacob ten Eycks in Albany. I happen to have the Haverstraw 1790 census on my desk and found it interesting that the Ten Eyck name was listed as Ten Nycke...Jacob, John, Henry, Henry Jr.. I thought I'd pass along this spelling.
