I am looking for info/connections to Valentine Hewlett PETERS. He lived in Hempstead, NY and had approx. 10 children. A few of his children moved to eastern Canada in the late 1700's and my family is descendant from his oldest son, James. I am looking for info re Valentine Peters origins and possible contacts with his descendants who remained in the U.S. His oldest daughter, Miriam, married, in 1763, a Dr. Adam Seabury. Another daughter, Rebekah Sarah, married a Dr. Wm. Treadwell and had 6 children so I thought some of her descendants are still in NY. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
