Can anyone on this list who knows Rockland County suggest any OLD cemetery, War of the Revolution era? >From town name changes I feel I have worked one location through from the Precinct of Haverstraw to the Town of Haverstraw to the Town of New Hempstead to the Town of Hempstead to the Town of Ramapo. I assume that would be the rough location of the wanted cemetery. I eventually hope to search for part of a John and Mary Burgess family if there might be any ancient cemeteries in or near Ramapo. Two sons died in the Revolution but the other children went in different directions with their burials in Tompkins, Westchester and Delaware Counties. djweber djwdjw@ix.netcom.com
