She apparently married James Knowlton around 1830 and had at least two children before she died. One was Thomas Knowlton, b ca. 1832, who probably appears as Thomas Newton in grandfather Weiant's household in the 1850 census. A Thomas Knowlton is listed in George Weiant's estate records (1855). Unfortunately I have been totally unable to find James and his second wife, Sophia, in 1850 and wonder if anyone knows anything about a missing piece of the census that year. James was on the 1840 census in Haverstraw with a woman the right age to be Sophia (b Apr 1822) and a girl child, 1-5, who should be Emma (later marries John Linkletter). Emma was born either 1837 (then dau of Hannah) or 1840 (then dau of Sophia). To complicate things, the LDS entry by some submitter says James had a Thomas and a Anna G. Knowlton in the 1830s. The Waldron cemetery shows Hannah Weiant Knowlton and also a George W. Knowlton (1842-1851), a son of Sophia and James. By the time James shows up again, in 1860 and still in Haverstraw, he has many children in his household: Maria, Melvina or Malvina, Alexander, and Richard (and by 1870 Sophia, Jr.). Strangely, on the 1860 census and no other, Maria and Melvina are said to have been born in Virginia. I have searched the entire US 1850 census for James' family under every spelling known to Knowlton and cannot locate them. Plus, I have no idea who Sophia is. Any response welcome.
