    2. Yes, you are correct. Maria De KLERCK LENT BOGART was born in 1744. However, I was born in 1944, which accounts for my mistake. I was just asleep at the switch. Please forgive me. Maple Ave. in Ridgewood, NJ. Pamela Redmond, author of "The Possibility of You," will discuss the genealogical experience that inspired her to write about three different women who lived in different parts of the last century. The earliest character is Bridget, who in 1916 has come to the US from Ireland, and is working as a nanny for a family in New York. The stories of one of the other women is set in the 1970s, and the third in the present time. Her research for the book gave her insights into the lives of Irish female servants, often called "Bridgets." Pamela Redmond is the author of 18 books, and a columnist for Glamour and many other magazines. Meetings are free and open to the public. As my gr-gr-grandmother is called Bridget in a US Census, and also, now in a Westchester County Deed. But on two death certificates of her children, she is named as Catherine. Unfortunately she died quite early on, and only shows up in the 1870 Census. Maple Ave. in Ridgewood, NJ. Unfortunately she died quite early on, and only shows up in the 1870 Census. Della was born in 1917, then adopted out of the family in 1920 at the age of 3. From the info you have posted we must be cousins. They lived on West 18th Street in NYC? I would enjoy hearing from you! My grandmother never spoke much about it, but my Aunt was named Ann Elizabeth so she must have had some contact with the family. On the adoption papers it states that in 1920, her father had died. My mother Joan b. 1937 and Ann b. 1939 are still alive in Queens and Suffolk County NY, but are suffering from different stages of Alzheimers. Della passed at the age of 56 from cancer in the mid 70's, she was a smoker. Elizabeth J. Tomlins Shaw? I have Anna Elizabeth Shaw, but I think this should be looked into. 1. [NYROCKLA] Cemetery Burials added to SAMPUBCO
    2. W David Samuelsen
    3. I know some of you noticed something new had been added to SAMPUBCO http://www.sampubco.com/cemetery/index.htm Right now, only the New York Gravestone Photo Project name lists at the moment, which will be updated monthly per county as needed. There will be other cemetery lists that are not of this particular project, particular the old lists which were recorded 1940s or before. The reason for the cemetery burial lists - they provide clues to where the probate records may be. The link to NY GPP is provided on each county page for quick search for full details and to see photos. To obtain photo, you need to contact the submitter for permission (they own the photos, not me, under copyright law.) W. David Samuelsen SAMPUBCO
