    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/YUB.2ACI/2039.1.1 Message Board Post: Hello, I was lucky because I had my mother's diploma showing she graduated from the school so I knew for a fact she had resided there. But you must request all information in writing. The address is St. Dominic's Home 500 Western Highway, Blauvelt NY 10913-2027 Also, they will only give you what you ask for so if you want more than just general info. specify; for example, I asked what years my mother was there, who visited her , etc. I believe I also sent my birth cert, my parents marriage certif. and my mother and father's death certificate and my license as I wanted to prevent any unnecessary obstacles in obtaining the information which is confidential. I did not have a problem at all- and as a result of some info. that was provided, I was able to then get other info that I needed from other sources. Let me know how it goes.

As an aside, questions like this can be more fruitfully answered by simply Googling the relevant terms. Just as a check, I Googled "Spring Valley" York and go the village website. That's a lot quicker than wiating for someone to look it up for you.. Cheers, Kelvin Kean Elverson PA

    2. Bill Forshay
    3. Hi List: I looking for information on Clara FORSHAY. She was born Aug 1868. I found her on the 1880 Census for Rockland county at age 11. I found her on the 1900 census for Rockland co. at age 31 widowed. She was living with her father Manchester Forshay and his wife Elizabeth (BEVENS), also brother Fredrick FORSHAY. I would like to find out who her husband was, if she had children, when she died and where. I wouild would like to find out about Fredrick, b: Apr 1866, he was also widowed in 1900, where he died and is buried. If he had a wife and children? There was also a son Wallace age 6 on the 1900 census. That's hard to believe with a sister 31 a brother 34 years old and the parent ages 54 and 50. Wallace is listed after Clara, maybe that is her son. Any help with this family is appreciated.
