Hi Barb, Boy this is fun with all the "named after" names. I'm going to ramble a bit here with what I have found. The third child of Nicholas, born 17 March 1722, and Anna Elisabeth Trebor was named Anna Maria born 4 Sept.1746. Could this daughter be named after??? She married Killien Richard [name maybe reversed ?] Nicholas Bonenstiel, born 1689 in Germany , was married in Germany with 1 child, prior to coming to America. Son died shortly after arrival in America and it appears they had a second child in Sept.--Dec.1711 prior to first wifes death in Jan. --March 1712. Married Anna Margaretha Kuhn [also found spelling of Kuntz] sometime between March---June 1712. Could Anna Margaretha actually be his 3rd wife and Anna Maria his 2nd and married in this time frame? This might be a factor in Nicholas Jr. and Anna Trebor first 3 childrens names :Anna Margaretha 4 Sept. 1743 , Catharina 7 April 1745 , Anna Maria 17 Oct.1746. Do you have the birth date for Frederick? That's the only one of the 12 kids I haven't found yet. Is the correct birth date for Lodowick 19 Feb. 1760 and death date 19 Feb. 1841? That is one of the dates my wife is hoping to verify in the Bonesteel Cemetery if she can stay clear of the bees. Score is Bee 1 Jane 0. Best I take my blankee now and go sleepybye before I strain my brain!! :-* ;-) See ya Dave Barbara Jeffries wrote: >Hi, >Keep in touch as I am filling in Lodowick's family and >will make it a web page when I finish - Nicholas >Bonesteel, Ludowick's father, married Elizabeth >Treber, sister of Eva, who married my ancestor, Philip >Haner. > >According to Hank Z.
