I know this thread has been going on for a week or two but I was away and not following closely. I will check the archives but wanted to mention my grand mother's brother, Frank Campbell married Eleanor Bonesteel, daughter of Daniel Bonesteel and Tennie Laurence. Is the the Campbell you were referring to or are there other Campbell-Bonesteel marriages? -- Pat Connors, Sacramento CA http://www.connorsgenealogy.com All outgoing mail virus free, scanned by ZoneAlarm AntiVirus
Hi Pat, As this came in from cyber space , I was reading your April 24, 2005 update to your Conners Genealogy----Kind of scary !!! Yes there is at least 1 other Campbell/Bonesteel marriage that I am aware of . John Campbell, who may be the, son of Gilbert and Mary Campbell married Abigail Bonesteel , daughter of Peter and Abigail Bonesteel and was living with them in the 1870 census for Grafton, Rensselaer Co. NY. I say may be, as they are living 10 residences apart but they list a son John who is 1 year difference in age. Not likely 2 living siblings would have same name unless 1 is just called John instead of given name.
