Hi folks, Trying to find some info on Alexander Decker born abt 1870 in we believe Troy Ny. Alexander didn't talk much about his family so few clues for us to go on. He was in Oklahoma by at least 1901. The family story is that he claimed his mother drowned when he was young and he was sent to live with relatives but didn't like it there and ran away. Another family member says the story was that the mother drowned in an accident on some sort of barge or ice barge. Has anyone on the list ever heard of a story like this or perhaps found a newspaper article about it. I would like to know about any Decker families that were in Rens Co. Thank's for any help. Jacklyn
