I've "rescued" an old photograph of Frank E. MOSELEY which was taken at the Rabineau Studio in Albany, New York. The photograph is dated July 11, 1883 with Frank appearing to be in his 20's or 30's at the time. In addition to his name someone has glued a wedding announcement from the newspaper to the back of the photograph, it reads: MOSELEY - MACGREW - March 10th 1892 Frank E. MOSELEY of this city to Miss Annie MACGREW of Hartford, Conn Based on limited research, I believe this may be a photograph of Frank E. MOSELEY son of B. F. & Orellia MOSELEY who were living in Albany, NY during the 1880 census. Census records for the family are as follows: B. F. MOSELEY, age 68, born in MA, a Carpet Dealer, parents born in MA/NY Orellia MOSELEY, wife, age 68, born in MA, parents born in CT Charles E. MOSELEY, son, age 34, born in NY, a Carpet Dealer, parents born in MA (suggesting that Orellia is not Mother?) Frank E. MOSELEY, son, age 26, born in NY, a Carpet Dealer, parents born in MA Annie NUGENT, servant, age 27, born in Ireland N. H. DICKINSON, other, age 58, born in MA, parents born in MA In the 1900 census it appears that Frank E. MOSELEY is living in Troy, NY with his wife, records indicate the following: Frank MOSELEY, age 45, born Oct 1854, married 8 years, born NY, parents born in MA, Dry Goods Salesman Anna MOSELEY, age 39, born Oct 1869, married 8 years, no children, born in NY, parents born NY/England I'm hoping to locate someone from this family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to the care of family.
