Would like to find parents of Joshua VINCENT (Elijah Joshua on some forms) b. Stephentown abt. 1788. First found in the 1830 Census - Orleans County NY - do not know when he left Stephentown. He is listed as both Boatman and Carpenter on various census reports. 1850 Census Orleans County NY Joshua 62 NY Boatman Elizabeth (Youngs) 58 RI Andrew J. 21 NY Boatman Eliza C. 21 PA (Wife of Andrew) Joshua J. 20 NY Boatman My line - daughter Sarah Jane m. THOMPSON and is out of the home. Sarah Jane has children: Charles A. b.abt. 1845 Sarah Elizabeth b. Mar 1848 In 1880 Joshua (son of E. Joshua) and his children are living with Sarah Jane and her husband. Given names of children (in the event they may be a clue) are: Washington J. b. 1851 Franklin b. 1853 (I don't find him after 1855 Census) Etta L. b. 1859 Charles W.
