Hello All, I am interested in Hulda Gifford who was born in Westport, MA on 17 Oct 1788 and died in Rensselaer County on 11 Mar 1881. She married Benjamin Sanford about 1808, probably in Rensselaer County. I have 2 children for them. They were Gideon Gifford Sanford who was born about Sep 1809 and Benjamin Sanford who was born on 3 Mar 1823. Were there other children in this family? Hulda, and her husband Benjamin Sanford and their son Benjamin were buried in the Elmwood Cemetery. Interested in communicating with anyone related to this family. I find a Polly Pulver marrying a Jacob Sheldon on 26 Nov. 1823 by Rev. Armstrong in the Dec. 3rd issue of the Poughkeepsie Journal. There are many Phillips mentioned in the book I have for deaths and marriages 1777 to 1834 Eastern NY State. Reformed Church, Wynantskill, NY 1794-1889 book also list many Phillips.
