I am looking for information to prove or disprove my suspicion that Charles Duane Hall is my 4th great-grandfather, father of Henry Merchant Hall. Charles Duane Hall was born 09 March 1758 in Westerly, Rhode Island and according to his Rev. War pension application, moved and settled in the Stephentown/Petersburgh/Grafton area about 1787. He appears in the 1840 census in Brunswick and is last found on the 1841 NY pensioner's list. Henry Merchant Hall was born 04 July 1787 in Rhode Island and by 1810 was living in Arlington, Vermont. By 1835 he was living in Fort Edward, NY and moved thereafter to Easton and Greenwich - dying in 1868 in Greenwich. I am trying to prove this connection and to uncover Charles Duane Hall's wife and other children. Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated!
