Seeking to prove parent's names, possibly John LEWIS [1740-1818] and Maria CLARK [1743-1815], of North Schodack, Rensselaer County, NY, of William LEWIS b. 1765. William married m. 1) unknown unknown maiden name and had child John LEWIS, m. 2) Fanny [1792-1865 Mrs. Charles DAVIS] of Schodack, Rensselaer County, NY, and he died in 1854. Child of first wife was John LEWIS [my ancestor]. Children of second wife, Mrs. Fanny DAVIS, were Almira [Ann] DAVIS, William DAVIS and Timothy DAVIS b. Saratoga, NY.
