(woo-woo!!). We don't have documented proof of her maiden name, but at the Surrogate Court in Albany we found her will leaving personal belongings to her siblings, among whom is a RICHARD WALSH. All siblings are recorded as living in Troy. I don't know what your time frame is, but Bridget died in 1885, if memory serves me correctly. Simon and Bridget lived in Green Island, first listed in the Directories in 1864, I believe. My great grandparents emigrated from County Galway, but Simon's naturalization ( or application for it) records his allegiance as owed to the Queen of Great Britain, but origin Ireland in various censuses. So we haven't pinned down where they lived prior to emigrating. Sheila
