    3. Hi, I was wondering what information is available regarding Troy area cemeteries. I am trying to locate the graves of my 4x great-grandparents, Alfred and Mary Buss. I was told at one time by my now-deceased great-grandmother that they were buried in Oakwood Cemetery, but they were not able to find any records of them in their files. I don't know a whole lot about the ancestors in question, and was hoping to learn a little more from their gravestones. Here's what I do know: Alfred Buss born c. 1808 NH Mary Lake Ostrander Buss born c. 1818 NY Alfred last appeared in the 1870 US Census, living in Brunswick, and the last I can find Mary is in the 1880 Census. They had 4 children that I know of: John born c. 1837 Mary born c. 1843 Sarah born 10 Apr 1845 (my 3x great-grandmother) Elizabeth born c. 1846 Any information, assistance, or leads would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Jeremy http://jeremyjtaylor.tripod.com ***Updated January 13 2006*** "We do not inherit the Earth from our Ancestors, we borrow it from our Children." ~Native American Proverb
