    2. Do you have any info on the Benjamin PATTEN family? Born in Lansingburg in 1797? Wife is Anna Dolson for whom I have ancestors back to Holland. They had sons, Levi Smith, Lewis DuBois, Eugene Foster, Charles Groves, and Emmet (my gg grandfather), and daughter, Lena R. Dorothy, Was in the Albany area LAST week, and able to do a look up in the directory at a library. It will be quite a while till I go again, and have no access to directory information for the Lansingburgh area where I live. Otherwise would be happy to do a look up for you. Best wishes, Sheila

    3. Thanks for your response! I heard from a new "cousin" just last night who has some information. I've gained at least one new generation of Pattens and several generations of Fosters and Standishes (as in MIles). How about that? Please tell me about the directory in Albany....perhaps, I can find it in the Cincinnati library or the Allen County library in Ft. Wayne, IN. Now that I have some new names and locations, I can check new sources.
