In any of your research around Troy and Lansingburgh Have you ran accross the names of Goewey / Gowey / Goay/ goeway or Norton ? It would be solomon around 1785 or so. And children would be 1801 to 1816 ? Fred McFadden thank you in advance.
Hi Rmcfa, I have a number of Goewey family members on my website at www.angelfire.com/ga4/myhayes_family. I do not know if they are the ones you are looking for. Richard From the shores of Grand Traverse Bay
Hi Fred, No, unfortunately I have not ran across any of those names. It was only the other day when I was doing some Gray research when someone sent me the Goay indexed on the 1850 census and by birthdates and names I knew those were my Grays. I will keep my eyes open if I see any of those names.
