    2. This is not about weather number one.. but I want to share a story about that word and how it's spelt. I learned to speak it as I sounded it out. She chuckles every time I say it because we do not sound like we are talking about the same place at our genealogy meetings. Pronunciation is vital to determine if its a different place or same place and that is why we have such a hard time determining places let alone names of people. Now JIM we can get back on track but I never thought it was off since pronunciation is critical to determine if same place. Dare we get into Tomatoooe tomaaato. IT's okay ... My Aunt was from RHODE ISLAND and that language is another world of it's own but I love to hear it spoken. Then go south to Alabama or over to GA again different and down to TExas ..
