I just found this Historical Newspaper site about a month ago and am glad to try it out. The Troy papers seem to be from about 1940 through about 1975. This site has papers from all over the country. Do you have any relatives from Northern New York or across the middle part of New York State? If so, I know two good newspaper sites that are free for that area. Is your direct line through John, the son of Henry and Mary? I find Mary Waugh listed in the 1890 City of Troy directory as Widow of Henry living at 69 Washington St. If you want me to check anything else just post.
