    3. Hello, Edie Do you recognise a Platt CUTTING? He was born in about 1831 in New York City and died 11 Feb 1910 in Ghent, Columbia Co NY. His mother may have been a Phebe. Platt married Susan ___ and had children (all born in NY state) Mary F. CUTTING b October 1854, Charlotte CUTTING (c1849-1860s), Leonard P. CUTTING b c1861 and Charles W. CUTTING (b c1864). Platt CUTTING may have had siblings Frances, Charlotte A., Leonard M. and Sarah M. CUTTING. Something of a nomad, Platt CUTTING resided in Huntington, Suffolk Co NY (Long Island); in Greenbush, Rensselaer Co NY; in New York City; and in Ancram, Columbia Co NY. Late in life, it would appear, Platt CUTTING fathered a child by Laura C. STUART or STEWART (1875-1910): Charles STUART, born 5 April 1892 in Ghent, Columbia Co NY, died in 1861. Charles's birth record names his father as Platt Cutting age 61 and names his mother as Laura Stuart age 17. Do you recognise any of these names? Thank you for any assistance you can offer.
