I just searched for two names, one from the 1842 list and one from 1885. Both were found by the site's search engine. It would be rare, or at least uncommon, for a website run by volunteers to supply multiple search engines. However, the directions do say, "To view the records so far transcribed, click on the years below." They don't direction you to the website search engine. That could be because this project is a work-in-progress. Re-indexing the search engine may not be done each time some records are added, so there may be times when you could only find a name by clicking on the year.
