    3. I've "rescued" an old photograph of Miss Emma M. GAGG which was taken at the Hardy & Vanarnam Studio in Troy, New York. The photograph was taken on Sept 27th 1888 with Emma appearing to be about 2-3 years old at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Emma and her family: Emma Mae GAGE b. 25 Apr 1886 in Berlin, NY to parents George Edgar GAGE (b. 19 October 1852 in Clifton Park, NY) and Henrietta WAGER (b. 2 Sept 1852 in Poestenkill, NY). Emma married Robert CROWDER (b. 23 Feb 1895) and died in FL on 9 Jun 1967. Emma's Mother died when Emma was just 4 years old, so Emma was raised by her maternal grandmother, Catherine. Census records provide the following information: 1900 census of Berlin, NY: Catherine WARRIGER, age 68, a widow, born Aug 1831, 6 children/3 living, born Germany, parents born Germany Mary WARRIGER, dau, age 43, born Dec 1857, born NY, parents born Germany Hattie WARRIGER, dau, age 31, born Apr 1886, born NY, parents born Germany, Stitches on Shirts Emma M. GAGE, age 14, grandau, age 14, born Apr 1886, born NY, parents born NY, at School 1920 census of Schenectady, NY: Robert A. CROWDER, age 34, born NY, parents born NY, an Accountant Emma M. CROWDER, wife, age 33, born NY, parents born NY + 6 lodgers all Electrical Engineers for General Electric I am hoping to locate someone from this family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley
