Hi, New to list. Am looking for a record of some sort for the marriage of Sarah SOUTHWICK and Jonathan PIERCE, 1786/89, Stephentown, Rensselaer Co., NY. I know there are no court house records, so it would have to be church records. They were both born in MA. She in 1766, the daughter of Copia WHITE and Jesse SOUTHWICK. He in 1765, the son of (possibly, Jonathan PIERCE and Sarah PAGE, which is not confirmed) Both of Sarah SOUTHWICK'S parents were Shakers, other than that, I would have no idea what church records to look for.
