Hi, I'm researching the following families from Rensselaer county. The Silvernail family from Berlin, Albartus Silvernail and sons Cornelius and Bartis Jr. moved to Wisconsin in the 1840's with what I think was a group of people from Berlin. Almira (Mary) Menter was married to Cornelius Silvernail in New York. I'm searching for information on her family in Berlin, I have found a Alva Menter that lived in the same area in Wisconsin as Cornelius & Almira, who moved back to Berlin in the 1800's. I'm thinking he was probably Almira's brother. Josiah Palmer Merchant Married Matilda Crandall daughter of Gardner & Bridget (Curtis) Crandall. Unknown where they married in New York.
