with some side lines of Decker and Henderson. My Mattoon family lived in the Lansingburg area of Troy and earlier in Rensselaer (East Greenbush). Zimmer's lived in Rennselaer but earlier in Albany. Mary Johnson was born Mary Patten in Bershire Co, Massachusetts, married George W. Mattoon, he died and somewhere along the line she married a Johnson, but was widowed when she lived with her son, Charles W. Mattoon, in 1900 in Troy. Charles H. Watson was a grocer, he had one son also named Charles, but I have no info if that son ever married. (He wasn't in 1925) Charles H. Watson, was married to Sarah Donovan/Donahue (both names on official records) but she was no longer on census with him after 1910, so I have no idea what happened to her. She is not buried with him. Mary Zimmer had several brothers, all who died fairly young, but that doesn't mean they never married, either. Anyone with connections? My great grandparents Charles and Mary (Zimmer) Mattoon buried at Oakwood with Henderson family. Their daughter was married to a John Henderson but she died young and is buried there also with her young son who also died (flu epidemic?). Charles' mother, Mary Johnson, is buried with his wives family Zimmer at Albany Rural Cemetery. Mary Zimmer had one sister named Willandena who married William Decker, they are also buried at Albany Rural. Ellen
