Since you got a death certificate, can I assume this person died late 1800's to present? Where they naturalized citizen (only good if they were not a child or wife)? If you are lucky, you might be able to find out from there. What exact time frame are you looking? If recent enough (last 70 years), Social Security is a good place. These are just the easy ones. You can try obits, cemetery records, marriage license, bibles, etc. And as we all know, you still may not find them ;) Hope this is not the case you you. good luck. > I have requested death certificates and only got the country of birth > (Canada).
