    1. [NYRENSSE] 1880 census going on line

    3. Today, I took over as the coordinator of the GenExchange Rensselaer site (see below for url). This is a good place to put your records to share with others. With that in mind, I have decided that instead of offering lookups for the 1880 census, I am starting to transcribe it and put it on line. I have it for all of Troy. Today, I uploaded 102 records which include names: O'Sullivan, Watson, Azier, Callahan, McGovern, Mead to mention a few. I will make announcement when I do more uploading. This site has forms to easily enter info such as baptism records, obits, naturalization records, marriages, censuses, etc. Please check it out. One thing I really love about this hobby is the way people unselfishly share their research. This is a good vehicle for the county because it is centralized. I was putting info on my site but now I will be using the GenExchange site. Let me know what you think about it and how it can be better. -- Pat Connors, Sacramento CA, listowner GenExchange Rensselaer County Coordinator http://www.genexchange.org/county.cfm?state=ny&county=rensselaer Researching: Connors/O'Connor, McEntee, Campbell, Flynn/O'Flynn, Smith, Phillips, Carter, Boyle, O'Rourke, Healey, Cullinan, Hoare, Todd, Owen, Booth, Gallagher, Fahey, Ryan, Haviland http://freepages.misc.rootsweb.com/~nymets http://www.familytreemaker.com/users/c/o/n/Pat-Connors/ mailto:nymets11@pacbell.net
