Hi Cliff! Regarding your question about New Berlin Central School. It could be the town of Berlin, NY, instead of New Berlin. There is a Berlin town in Rensselaer County. My mother and her siblings graduated from the high school, Berlin Central School, there beginning in 1946. Berlin is almost on the Massachusetts line, right next to North Adams, MA. The school was still there when I attended cross-county rival New Lebanon Central School in the early 80's and is still there now.
