Hoosick was listed as Albany County in 1790 because Rensselaer County was not formed from Albany County until 1791. As Holly said Hoosick is now in Rensselaer County. The so-called "1790" Vermont census was taken in 1791 after the State of Vermont was created. It is not unusual to find people in 1790 in both VT and NY. They may have moved, and, there are the usual boundry problems, be it state, county, town. Marie
