Hi, everyone. I have a ?? about boundaries of the states of NY and VT. I have an ancestor who was listed by the IGI as being born in Pownal Township, Bennington County, but in the FEDERAL census of 1790 is listed as Albany County in HOOSICK. Is this the same place? Can someone shed some light on this for me? Thanks Eve
