About the Catholic Church and Mormon records: I have heard (mind you not from any official sources) that the Catholic Church does not like the idea of people who are obviously baptized into the Roman Catholic Faith being re-baptized and sealed in the Mormon faith. That may be an individual Priest's or Diocesan choice, but I have heard that before. If they get put in the IGI, that's because Temple Ordinances have been done for them.
