    3. A webpage called "Revolutionary War Pension and Bounty-land-warrent Application Files" can be found on the LDS site. It is part of what they call their FAMILY HISTORY LIBRARY CATALOG RECORD. It is found at: http://www.familysearch.org/sg/CCF1/78932.html The information given says that there were about 80,000 applications. An alphabetical list of about 5300 names is listed on this webpage which I believe to be primarily a list of microfilms available. Two names are listed for each line. I believe these are the names of the first and last men whose applications appear on the microfilm. If I am correct, there are about 2650 microfilms with about 30 applications on each one. I imagine that an application would be several pages long. The serviceman would have to prove that he served, and he might have to list family members in case they had a right to collect benefits after his demise. Cliff
