Jim, For the time period when Thomas and Mary were married, Troy had city directories. Lansingburgh would have been part of the directory. Since you already know the parents, you can look for the father and probable son in the Troy directory. If they were both employed they will probably both be listed. When Thomas first got a job, it is likely that he was still living with his father, so they will both be listed with the same address, except that Thomas would probably be listed as a border. He might even have lived with his parents for awhile just after getting married.
