A couple of months ago I phoned the Albany Co. Hall of Records. They sent me a piece of paper listing some counties of Vermont that were at one time part of Albany Co. Vermont today is two counties wide all along its length, as I recall. The counties that the paper named were all EASTERN counties of VT. Therefore, if the eastern counties were part of Albany Co., the western counties (closer to NY) must also have been, but there was no mention of them on the sheet. Cliff
