    1. [Rensselaer] Two Philip Links - Rensselaer County
    2. Good report on Rensselaer County SIG of Capital District Genealogical Society Meeting. I am new to NYRENNSE-L@rootsweb.com. I am looking for more information about the following two Philip Links: (1) Philip Link b. Columbia County, NY about 1811: children Sylvester, Chesterman, Ann; widower at time of 1855 census; deceased wife-Edith Rawlins. Philip eventually lived in Rensselaer County; remarried (?) - possibly Almira Kilmer; other children possibly Calvin, William, Jane. Philip is my gggrandfather on the male side of the family. (2) Philip Link, son of Peter Link (Rensselaer County). Philip's son Martin, my gggrandfather on the female side of the family was the natural child of Betsy Thompson. (This sounds confusing, but Chesterman Link (Philip Link from Columbia County's son) married Hannah E. Link (Philip Link from Rensselaer County's granddaughter.) I believe Philip married and had other children: Lyman, Morgan, Peter, Mariah (?). Philip died in Chautauqua County. Philip had brothers (also Peter's sons) Peter, Andrew, and Stephen. I also am looking for information on any of these Links. Is there a way to get in touch with Clare and Don Radz? I think he must be the Radz who was a neighbor of ours on Troy-Averill Park Road, NY Route 66, when I was growing up. Also his dad was a good friend of my dad's. Would like to get in touch with him. Thanks for any information. Beverly
