Next Friday, 20 April 2001, at 10:30 a.m., there will be a meeting of the Rensselaer County Special Interest Group of the Capital District Genealogical Society at the Brunswick Historical Society Meeting Room at the Garfield School on Route 2 at Moonlawn Road in Eagle Mills Village, Town of Brunswick. Anyone interested in Genealogical Research in Rensselaer County is invited to attend. Invited guests are: Rens. Co. Clerk Frank Merola and or his Deputy Clerk and Records Management Officer Greg DeJulio, Ruth Sweet from the Troy Public Library, Kathy Sheehan and probably Jim Corsaro from the Rensselaer County Historical Society, and Don and Clare Radz who did the Rensselaer County Cemetery Census for LDS. I know that many of you are from out of the area, and so I am inviting you to send me questions that ask "Where do I find . . . in Rensselaer County? These can not be specific research questions like Who is the mother of Joe Schmoo? As time allows, and if time allows, I will ask the questions for you and post the answers as fast as I can and to the best of my ability. I wish you could all be there.
