Regarding inquiry St. Peter's Cemetary Troy. I too would be interested in cemetary information/publication. The church address is 2310 Fifth Avenue, Troy, NY 12180. The tele # is 518-272-2750 and your contact is Denise. Good Luck. Linda Farrell
My experience with St. Peters Church has been very frustrating. They are extremely closed liped, I had to "sneak" in after several attempts to locate the secretary, the maid let me in out of pity after my 3rd trip. There is a map of the cemetery on the wall, I located the grave site myself and just left after waiting almost an hour. I've written up to 10 times for family info and they sent me info twice out of 10 requests. After hearing the excuse that they only had one researcher, I even volunteered to help do research for free! I was raised Catholic in North Troy and had several references, they didn't even respond to my offer, and from then on ignored my requests. I gave up. Good luck though, let me know if I can help! Hi Jenn, Funny you should write about this right now. I was just thinking that it's been 6 months +plus since I wrote to St. Peters for any McGough records they might have. Still haven't heard anything. I'm starting to give up myself! :-) Michelle McGoff Jenn Olmstead wrote: > My experience with St. Peters Church has been very frustrating.
